The Underdark is an alternate material plane, accessible only in the last 200 years or so, that is home to a variety of powerful creatures and magic items, including the dark elves know as the [[Drow]]. There also seems to be some connection between the Underdark and an entity known as [[Lolth]] the Spider Queen as the [[Drow]] seem to worship her. A Draegloth recently surrendered to a Magistery party (see [[Game-Summaries:3/10 Recollections]]) and told an unlikely tale of the Underdark being abandoned by [[Lolth]] and its inhabitants searching the planes for a new home.
