====Stress==== '''Stress:''' the system used to track close calls, near misses, and glancing blows a character has dealt with during a combat scene. Stress is tracked separately for both Mental and Physical sources of damage and is completely cleared at the end of combat. When stress damage occurs, a single bubble on the stress track (refer to character sheet) is filled in for the hit for the amount of damage taken. If that amount is already filled in, the next highest must be filled in. Example: Jeroy is fighting a pirate who has already taken a glancing hit from Bloodcrier, represented by a 2-point hit of physical stress. Jeroy rolls another attack using Fight and lands a total of +3. The pirate tries to tank the hit with Physique and rolls a total +1, resulting in another 2-point hit. As the pirate's 2-point slot is already filled, they are forced to either take the hit as a 3-point stress hit or take a Consequence (discussed in the next section)
