==Recollections by Rezik== It was the 8/26/347 of Septon Kilovus when we decided to heal Liandrin. When I say we, I mean me, Kaylorr, Dereth, Zanna, and Avant. We knew she was comatose in the tower and only being sustained by a troupe of Yellows. We believe Liandrin may have bound her mind into her Magistery ring and that we'll need to enter her mind to help her. It seems as if she's battling something within her mind. We reached out to Wisakdejak to help enter Liandrin's mind. Since he is trained in the psionic magics, it seemed like our best chance for helping Liandrin. He arranged for a series of cots to be placed around him, with all of our heads pointing towards him. He begins to cast a spell that sounded like it was in celestial and another ancient language we've never heard before. We awoke to a vast garden with jungle sounds all around us. I had a splitting headache and realized I had none of my items with me. I also was definitely hurt and seemed to have lost some of my magic. We believe we're in an area north east of Eomas, probably where Aethelfirth now exists. It seems like we've traveled to a past memory, since we've reached a time before the Great Awakening and are looking at the original city of Aethelfirth. Ahead of us was a castle with guards at the entrance. They allowed us to enter the castle and we entered a large ballroom. We found a number of people in the room, with a long line of people going up a set of stairs. As we listened to the people talk, we realized that most of them were talking in non-sequiturs and we weren't sure what was going on. We were able to learn that Lord Aethel had ruled these lands for centuries, even though he's supposedly a human. While some of our group continued to speak the courtiers, Zanna hid and snuck up the steps to find the King and a young Liandrin in chains. Liandrin has a tattoo on her arm. When Zanna looked at the tattoo, it seemed to hurt her head and Liandrin covered her arm. Zanna followed Liandrin into a harem and spoke to her. We find out that we need to stop the Duke from hearing the Seal's spell. Liandrin said it's an ancient memory. Zanna finds us in the main chamber and we follow back through the harem to find Liandrin re-entering the Duke's Chamber. We peer through a curtain and see the Seal enter and petitions the Duke to unlock the power of ring magic. She gives the Duke over 75+ small chests of gold. The Duke agrees and pulls a gear which lifted a stone pillar that is covered in runes that look like a spell. The seal begins to cast the spell. Liandrin pulls out a dagger and kills herself, resetting the memory. Suddenly, we find ourselves in the garden again. It seems like we've forgotten what happened, but Dereth seemed to have remembered. We decide we have to try again. I go to the seal and convince her that we're real and that this is a memory. She agrees to help us fool the duke. When The Seal is summoned to the Duke's Chamber, she makes her plea and it is accepted. Instead of casting the true spell for Ring Magic, she casts a fake spell. Suddenly everything goes black and we awaken in the magistery. We look to Liandrin and she stirs. When she awakens, she informs us that it wasn't a demon prince that had imprisoned her in her mind, but Avant believes it was the Shade. Liandrin tells us that she fought the Shade in the Abyss and lost. We believe we succeeded in stopping the Shade from getting the Ring Magic.<br /> Note to Rezik: Remember Amulet of Planes
