The Color Guard is the title of all of the elected Paragons of each house (often called Vice Headmasters). There are always three members of the color guard on duty at the Magistery Tower. The Color Guard is made up of: Paragon is a title within the Magistery indicating a "vice-leader" of a house, second to a Headmaster. Originally the Paragon's role was to guard their headmasters while on missions, but as the role of Headmaster has become more and more administrative, often the Paragons will venture forth on their own to execute the headmasters' highest missions and investigations. Just as the headmasters are often referred to as The Colors, the paragons are often called the Color Guard. Currently the Color Guard is made up of the following Paragons: * Galstaff, #First Chair, Paragon of the Magistery#Browns, House of Divinity * Telerthquessir, #Cosmopolitan, Paragon of the Magistery#Blacks, House of Time * Oskul, #First Selector, Paragon of the Magistery#Blues, House of Water * Kord, #Captain-General, Paragon of the Magistery#Greens, House of Earth * Wisakedjak, #First Weaver, Paragon of the Magistery#Yellows, House of Lightning * Liandrin, #Highest, Paragon of the Magistery#Reds, House of Fire * Melvin Dooley, #Head Clerk, Paragon of the Magistery#Grays, House of Wind * Pythia, #First Reasoner, Paragon of the Magistery#Whites, House of Sonic
