They are not Undead like their lesser minions, but instead '''Aberrations''', and so unaffected by ''Turn Undead.'' They are accomplished spellcasters, and also vicious hand-to-hand fighters. They can fly, attack with fist and glare, and have a number of Legendary Actions at their disposal which can be used at any time during combat. They can attack, stun with a word, and channel negative energy to cause a variety of effects including preventing healing, redirecting spells, destroying attuned magic items, causing damage, imposing disadvantage, and finally releasing an explosion of energy that damages themselves as well as all other creatures within a wide radius. Like the rest of the Dreadhorde, the '''Generals''' are immune to all damage but fire damage.
