	Drow society seems to be organized into Houses, each led by a Headmistress. In all observable cases, that ~~Meadmistress~~ is also a spellcaster leading us to believe that the Drow value spellcasting above martial prowess, and obviously oraganize themselves in a matriarchal way. There seems to be some contention between the Houses, as we evidence of shifting alliances, and competeing agendas. We suspect, however, that one house must sit atop the hierarchy, at least in name if not in practice, for this organization to remain stable.
