I highly recommend making a character portrait tailored to what you specifically want. Sure, you can find one, but if you make one (or get one made) I will award you with in-game bonuses, somehow. If you want some info for an artist, here's some and a few samples: [[Character Portrait]]

Character Portraits and Custom Minis edit edit source

I highly recommend making a character portrait tailored to what you specifically want. Sure, you can find one, but if you make one (or get one made) I will award you with in-game bonuses, somehow. If you want some info for an artist, here's some and a few samples: Character Portrait

There's also a GREAT place to make customized bespoke miniatures, Go to Hero Forge. Or you can see some of the sample minis I made here: See some minis

Roll20 edit edit source

Roll20.net is an online system that allows for battle maps, sharing of resources, enables video chat and everything for a fairly comprehensive online D&D roleplaying experience online.

The invite link to join the current campaign is: Roll20

You will be required to make an account and all that stuff, as long as you're in MY game, you will see no ads or anything. If you don't plan on playing online ever, you don't have to bother with this.

Rule Books edit edit source

Or you can buy it on Amazon: Amazon Link

and the Wizards of the Coast website for it: Wizards Link

You can also find the "Basic Rules" here: Basic Rules

Quick Web Reference edit edit source

There is a wonderful online resource that basically collected all of the stat and numbers based information and put it together in a multi level database: 5e d20 SRD

Basically, you can search for quick reference stuff there.

Other Player Resources edit edit source

Here's a bunch of player aids available from galeforcenine, I highly recommend them as a store, but feel free to look elsewhere.

I haven't messed around with the spell decks and other aids, but I plan on doing so sometime soon:
