It was harvest season in Westcliff and apparently the Magistery was called upon to attend a town hall meeting. After borrowing some horses from the Town Guard, Coin, Zanna, Jorg, Amon, and I all rode to Westcliff. The point of the Town Hall was to determine reparation for the liberation of goblins from the previous Town Chief. The new chief, Chief Edwards, presided over the meeting and determined that the debt owed for 6 goblins came to 600 gold. We of course declined and after more deliberation, went for a short recess. During this time Coin and Zanna went investigating into the homes of Edwards and the town Wisdom whose name I cannot recall. Edwards had a few allies backing him, one of which was named Zara. Zara was a peculiar fellow. He claimed that he came to town weeks after The Great Goblin Liberation of 345. He managed to avoid all questioning from Jorg even with the use of the new Magistery rings we acquired from our promotion to apprentices.

Coin persuaded us that we need to decline all forms of reparation and payment and tell Chief Edwards to stuff it. With that being said, a mob headed by Zara descended upon the Town Hall where the meeting took place. The mob was made up of all townsfolk and would not heed our calls to stop the fighting. With a diplomatic resolution gone, Jorg, Amon, and I decided to end the chaos in the best way we knew how. Lots and lots of stabbing and electrocution. Amon obliterated several of the towns people while I followed up with a new way of focusing my lightning spells through my staff and blasting it into the face of person or three. Zara was a quick fellow and teleported directly into the middle of all the fighting. Wielding two khopeshes, he managed to strike me on the arm and all of sudden I felt this sudden sensation of something wanting to crawl into my very being. I managed to fight it off and though Zara was quick, he was not quick enough to avoid the onslaught of our attacks. I managed to liberate his head from his body and the mob abruptly stopped with their riot.

Chief Edwards managed to survive all the fighting and after a quick interrogation, claimed no knowledge of Zara. We ended up demanding that Westcliff become a new haven for all peaceful goblins looking for a new home. We did find a set of orders on Zara's headless body and we could only decipher the below.

Apologies for those who are reading this summary and it seems a little scattered. supposedly my bloodthirst has been noticed by my peers and I've been doing a lot of meditation to tone it down. I've also taken up work helping the House of Yellow to atone for the probably unnecessary deaths of those townspeople.
