Halisstra Melarn is the Drow Headmistress of House Melarn. She recently sent an emissary to the Magistery with a [[Halisstra's

Letter |Letter]] expressing a desire to resolve the current situation peacefully, and claiming that the Drow we have encoutered previously have been acting without her authority.

Halisstra had previously been named as the "Mother" of the Draegloth. A Draegloth recently surrendered to a Magistery party (see Game-Summaries:3/10 Recollections) and told an unlikely tale of the Underdark being abandoned by Lolth and of Halisstra directing her children to search the planes for a new home. This Draegloth promised to send an emissary to the Magistery to discuss this.
