Gromph Baenre is Male Drow Wizard, and de facto ruler of 'House Baenre'. This arrangement is extremely unusual in Drow society, particularly as it existed before the Silence of Lolth. This seems due to his exceptional power, made even more valuable by the loss of Divine Magic among the female Drow clerics of Lolth.
