Song and Sorrow

Song & Sorrow is the result of two large islands in continental drift towards one another, over thousands of years the predominantly human isle collided with the predominantly elvish isle and created a mountainous divide between the two. Because of the ensuing wars and chaos that followed, the historically music-loving high elves of the west called their new home Laer a Nyere, which translates to Song & Sorrow, the embodiment of what their homeland had become.

Because of Human propagation, the generally accepted name for this continent is Song & Sorrow, although this is a translation from the Elvish Laer a Nyere
