Bartholomew stands 3'1" tall and probably weighs 40lbs soaking wet. He has light brown eyes and sandy brown hair kept loose and wavy. His face is suntanned and weathered from years working in the elements, and his hands are rough and calloused. When not working the fields he can often be found smoking away on a corncob pipe while fussing with his private still, which he uses to make a small but well-regarded supply of barleywine for his friends, family, and neighbors.

Bartholomew, Bart to his close friends, has worked the fields around his family's barley farm since he was old enough to walk. His family has farmed there for generations.
