Recollections by Jorg
After a week of studying, Jorg un'Dal convinces several of his classmates to practice their social skills with an evening together. Brooding Kaylorr, chatty Zanna, honor-less Chad, quiet Gerald, and bookish Coin (or Orphan? it's confusing; just pick one name and write it down) accompanied Jorg to the Braze'N'Bold. At the student tavern, Jorg and his companions were joined by rustic Avant and fellow Magistrate initiates Baern Battlehammer and Bimpnottin. Jorg introduced himself and sparked a lively conversation about everyone's goals with the Magistery. Through Jorg un'Dal's social graces, the group became a party and decided to confront their curiosity concerning the Magistry's Training Dungeon. Leaving Baern and Bimpnottin behind, Jorg's party asked the Magistery clerk to summon the Grandmaster Metaphysicae. After struggling with the Grandmaster's hearing impairment (I suppose it would be improper to name him a racist after one comment) Jorg's party was admitted to the dungeon.
The dank crypt was plagued by the poltergeist of the mother of a family. The tomb told the story of a dark character, Salim Farstrider, who seduced the mother. The mother, killed in childbirth, remained behind to haunt the tomb. The husband's brother arrives afterward, kills the child, his own brother, and remains buried next to the child and brother. The mother was not entombed with her family, however.
Jorg un'Dal lead the party into the crypt and destroyed the Rat Fountain with an ingenious smash of his shield and swipes of Avant's morning star. Jorg then charged the Risen Corpse and felled it, with assistance from the party (yes, they assisted me; continue). Surviving the touch of the Mummy, the party learned the story of the unfortunate poltergeist via a series of bas reliefs and a statue of the former deity, Bregan. Choosing a direct approach, as opposed to a more diplomatic solution, Jorg and the party communed with Lydia (yes, the poltergeist had a name). The poltergeist summons 4 skeletons and the true test of endurance begins. Jorg un'Dal flies around the battlefield, defending, attacking, and enduring blows by skeletons and the poltergeist. After watching most of his companions fall, Jorg un'Dal fells Lydia with a final swipe of his long sword. The party defeats the final flesh abomination (it may have been Coin, but I can not recall exactly who) created from the son's remains.
And so concludes our adventure. Well, Franklin, if you were unsatisfied with my recollection of events, you should start accompanying into more risky situations. You'll never learn without experience. What? You're still recording my dictation?! Yes, we're done!
