Little is known about Valas, other than he is a suspected cell leader of the Black Ice Gang and that he is likely tasked by the Gang (or possibly by the Spider Queen Lolth herself) with collecting Ingredients for something called The Chaos Curse.
He may be sponsoring expeditions into the ruins of Old Solace in order to collect these ingredients.
