Water Weird

A water weird is an elemental creature that seems to be bound to a specific spot of water. We encountered one in a puddle on an island that had risen from the bottom of the sea by unknown means. It was invisible while immersed in water, and its serpentine shape became clear only when it we disturbed the water and it emerged to investigate. We avoided disturbing it or the puddle further, and it ignored us completely.
