Appearance
Tall for a dwarf, and lean and strong, Amber carries herself with every inch of her 5 feet of height. She has blazing red hair, green eyes, and a ruddy complexion, all unusual among both her family and the noble class. She is more likely to be found in riding leathers or hunting gear, than she is in the gowns and finery more befitting her station.
History
Amber is the Youngest of 7 children, all born to Duriz and Yusideth Ironfoot. Duriz is a minor noble, made a Squire by the Emperor for his service in the Imperial Army, and given leave to establish a small village in Vapetor Province. Duriz is fiercely loyal to the Empire, and extremely proud of his noble status. Amber, however, is less enthusiastic about both her heritage and the empire.
She was born with a rebellious streak, and her position as youngest child and 5th eldest daughter, only seemed to fuel her discontent. She chafed under the rules of courtly manners, and was colorfully described by the last of a long line of short-lived tutors as "an ill-mannered, ill-tempered, foul-mouthed she-devil, more fit for a dirty tavern floor than a manor house and who has all the grace and scent of a draft horse, with none of the redeeming personality"
