Lolth

The Goddess formerly known as Araushnee, Lolth is known to us as the Spider Queen of the Drow. She backstabbed the god Corellon and was forced to leave Arvandor, taking on the name of Lolth. The elves that followed Lolth at first, but tried to turn back to Corellon after she backstabbed him became the Shadar-Kai. Investigations have revealed that the Spider Queen’s will is to spread chaos through the “Chaos Curse” (see Game-Summaries:9/9 Recollections). It has also been learned from from various sources that Lolth has fallen silent. The Divine spellcasters among the Drow are unable to cast spells, and the Underdark seems to be collapsing (See Silence of Lolth).
