Old Solace refers to the ruins beneath and surrounding the current ground Level of the city of Solace. This collection of burying buildings and sewers are bisected by caverns and holes, and inhabited by a variety of creatures including kobolds and yuan-ti's (see Game-Summaries:7/3 Recollections). We have discovered a few concerning things about these Ruins:
- These appears to be tunneling through and within these ruins, generally headed in the direction of new Solace.
- It also seems that The Drow are using these tunnels as a staging area for unknown purposes, after travelling to our plane using the strange portals we have found.
- A shadowy figure named Valas, a cell leader of the Black Ice Gang may be sponsoring expeditions into these ruins to collect ingredients for the "Chaos Curse"
